Miharu’s Testimonial - 15 years old

I studied at MLC from 13 April 2009 till 03 July 2009 for 3 months.  I made friends with Korean and Chinese students for the first time.  The classmates were all active and enthusiastic during the class.  My teachers, Courtney and Robin were always kind and attentive.  I always felt secure to discuss anything with my teacher.  English was not my favourite subject while I was studying in Japan, but I was so thrilled when I did so well in a trial test!

Moeka’s Testimonial – 12 years old

I had never really studied English before I came to Melbourne and I did not even know basic words.  My teachers, Courtney and Robin eagerly and kindly helped me every time I had questions.  I love the atmosphere of the class, as it was always cheerful and energetic.  I am now able to speak English!

My daughters studied English at Melbourne Language Centre for 3 months.  At the beginning, they felt a little lost in the environment where there were only students with different nationalities but no Japanese.  But they were welcomed so warmly by the classmates and the teachers, that they soon got accustomed to the school.  The teachers were very keen and gave them a lot of homework.  There were times when they struggled with homework but they achieved as the teachers were always helpful.

The teachers at Melbourne Language Centre have a great teaching method in which they encourage students with praise and help them develop their personality.  It seems quite different to that in Japan.  That is why my daughters felt at ease and managed to develop their English skills greatly in such a short period of time.  Moeka has reached the much higher level compared with other students of her age in Japan.  Miharu scored much better in the test that she had previously in Japan.

Our choice of Melbourne Language Centre was right!  Thank you very much.
