Intensive IELTS Module:
This module is for students who need to improve their IELTS score quickly. It includes a whole day dedicated to IELTS practice tests and review, so students know exactly what is required of them in the exam.

The IELTS program also teaches students how to structure arguments and write essays in an exam environment. Students will also undertake classes that provide them with the high level skills needed to succeed at University.

Academic Module:
This module is designed to improve students’ ability to succeed in an academic environment. Presentation skills, essay writing, and comprehensive listening tasks all give MLC students the best advantage when they go on to study at an Australian University.

This module within the EAP Program is for students who wish to concentrate on the skills they will need when they enter University. The module includes advanced grammar and language skills, but also covers areas such as: Academic Conventions in Footnoting and Referencing, The Art of Persuasion, and Long Essay Writing. There is also an emphasis on teaching students how to create and give great presentations.

Business English Module:
This module contains negotiation and argument skills, presentation and analysis skills that give MLC students a great advantage when conducting business in English, and when studying for Business and Commerce related subjects at University.

Cambridge Exam Preparation:
MLC has intensive twelve-week Cambridge Exam preparation courses. Our teachers are experienced in delivering this program specifically and students may also take electives in other EAP areas should they choose to do so.

TOEIC Preparation
MLC is a registered TOEIC Testing Centre and conducts TOEIC exams for our students. Special Electives are provided in every area for students who wish to take this exam. For further information please click here.
